• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did they even change?

I was just thinking about my car ( like always ), and i was wondering what was different between the 2005 Grand Prix and the 2005 Grand Prix GT, Anyone?

Well iron..what did you find out?

These are the features the GT has over the base model.

  • 6 -way power driver seat
  • Height adjustable driver seat
  • Cargo net
  • Overhead console with storage
  • Audio controls on steering wheel
  • Front and rear reading lights
  • Leather trim on shift knob
  • Leather steering wheel
  • Front, rear and cargo floor mats
  • Dual illuminating vanity mirrors
  • Painted alloy wheels (Instead of steel)
  • Full wheel covers
  • Curb weight: 3484 lbs (Compared to 3477 lbs)
  • Range in miles (cty/hwy): 289.0/442.0 mi. (Compared to 306.0/459.0 mi.)
  • EPA mileage est. (cty/hwy): 17/26 mpg (Compared to 18/27 mpg)
  • 4-wheel ABS
  • Traction control

The question is: Are all of those features worth the ~$1,000 price difference?

Yeah why not, ha.

"Wow im sorry I shouldn't post after a double shift totally didn't notice that."

Wonder why there is a difference in fuel mileage between the two? It must be because of the ABS and traction control, as the engine and tranny are more or less the same. IMHO, GT is not worth the difference in price to me, although maybe it is a bit safer.
