• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

well, got the car running after swap, but....

I'm getting two codes: P1676 and p0102. I have some other issues also... Non working temp gauge, the gear indicator on the inst. cluster doesn't work (and no backup lights) showing a low oil, and low coolant light on cluster, poor throttle response, and intermittantly working fans. One major concern I have is the car I got the wire harness out of was hit in the left front. (right at computer) Some of the wires had chaffing. I was wondering if this could be the root of all of my problems. I'm going to pull the computer out tomorrow morning and check it out. I'm not really asking for answers, just letting you guys know my progress, and maybe if you have any other places I can check.

Just some info on my swap. 99 complete gtp cradle into my 99 gt. While I had the engine out, I replaced all gaskets on top end, added a 3.4 pulley, plugs, t stat, water pump, headers, supercharger coupler, trans filter, etc.. Once in the car, I added a magnaflow catback, and new struts. I have another thread started with my pics from the swap if you're interested.

Like I said though, I'm gonna check those wires tomorrow and hope I find an obvious issue.

^^or a bad ground not connected or loose did you make sure u put the 3 grounds on the lower trans housing bolt by the starter:th_nervous: ??

ok, I repaired the 5 wires that were chaffed, and that fixed my p1676 code. Still, everything else. I'm going to try the maf sensor from my old engine to see if that helps the other code at all. I'm still confused on the no temp gauge/fan and the gear indicator. I did notice today, that the low oil light will go off then I shift to reverse, then comes on in neutral, and off again in next gear, and so on.... This is racking my brain. I should just take a break from it. I did take it up the road today. I had my scan tool showing 183 degrees. Ran and shifted well, didn't get into it at all though. I still need to have my computer tuned. I'm trying to locate some good wire diagrams for the temp sensor/gauge, and the shift indicator if anyone has access to that? Thanks
