I just recently got a new trans not a rebuild but a reman. It was running good for the first week at temps under 180. Now a month later its been going into the 220s and shifting really hard. So today i was driving down the road the car shifted into 4th and i went to go faster and it was neutral. It still said i was in drive. I stopped the car and got back up to 4th and did it again. I look at my trans temp is say just above 220. So i stop shut off the car and got back up to 4th and noting it was fine other then a weird shift into 2nd. Anyone have any idea why its doing this?
