yes i have the zzp turbo kit with a udgraded t3 to4e 60mm turbonetics turbo and 38mm wastegate and i recently changed the spring...i doubled up a 10 psi large yellow spring and a little red 6 psi = 16psi right?

other mods are diamond 8:1 compression pistons, stage 2 zzp heads,498 lift comp cam camshaft,oe r lifters

but after i put the springs in (also note. im not running a boost controller) i stomp the gas and the car started shaking VERY HARD back n forth constantly until i eased up on the gas a lil bit.....anyone know why this does this??? do i need colder spark plugs? is it my trans? cause i do have a stock L36 trans

ooohh and also when i just had the 10 psi spring by itself in the WG it still did this but not as much

no not really ....it just feel like a really hard stutter it just goes back n forth back n forth as well as the rpm's and this happens very fast too if i keep my foot on the gas n floor it itll jus keep doin that until i ease up on it then it will go......what does that sound like to you?

i mean with my mods that i have i no i can run 16psi the only thing stock im running in my car is my trans L36 and the rockers

Do you have a tuner, maybe you ar running lean, and have enough knock that you can feel it, We need a scan to really see whats going on.....

how long have you had this kit? Has it ALWAYS done this since the install? what else has been changed on the car? Has the piping been touched in anyway?

well when i first got the kit i had a stock l36 then a piston broke so i rebuilt the whole engine....then i added a turbonetics t3 to4e 60mm .82 a/r turbo......last turbo was the innovative 50mm .48 turbo

guy at stattama said it was cause of the stock MAF sensor?

i have a feeling its either that or the tranny could it be cause of my stock torque conv?

If you are able to scan the car... look at your MAF readings..and see if they are maxed out. other than that, check all the piping to make sure everything is tight. boost leaks are a pain!

is it like a hesitation? how old are your plugs and wires? mine did something that when the wires were shot, KR wouldnt cause your car to jerk

i dont think it's the tranny either, my torque converter/TCC solenoid are messed up and my car is throwing codes because of it, it only jerks when it shifts, not when it's in gear

i jus put accel 514 spark plugs and new 7mm (stock) wires...but i dont believe the guy who sold me those plugs are as cold as he thought shouldnt i need maybe 4 heat ranges colder for my setup? i think mine are 1 heat range colder

and yeaa now that u said that i guess it isnt my tranny cause it jerks alot!!! like if i start from 0mph and floor it, it will jerk like all hell broke loose and go no where!!! but uhh 40% throttle its perfect shifts great runs very fast and smooth

alriht u guys i ran a scan this is what i got

im hoping one of these codes defines my problems ive been having with my car

P0118
P1106
P1115

Re: alriht u guys i ran a scan this is what i got

P0118 Engine Coolant Temperature Circuit High Input

P1106 Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor circuit intermittent high voltage

P1115 Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor circuit intermittent high voltage

So, whats your car doing?

And PS, for OBD 2 code descriptions, go here:
OBD2 Diagnostic Trouble Codes, Scanner Code

actually Scotty he had started a different thread about his car not acting right.

I merged both threads in the turbo section........

its really hard to explain what it does but...

i have the interceptor gauge and it tells me the throttle position and whenever i give around 50-100% throttle the rpms goes up n down up and down and gives no power to the wheels but u can hear the turbo working and pushing air in the motor

and just to add a lil more knowledge i used to have the innovative 50mm turbo from z7 kit but that one blew soo i now have a turbonetics 60mm with a bigger a/r (.82)

maybe my new turbo pushes more air? and its my maf sensor?
