weird intermediate cicking after start up

after start up I can hear what sounds like a power antenna trying to extend but stuck. like "click click click' then stops does it like every minute or 2 it sounds like its coming from rear of car. any ideas what it might be?

I also hear a clicking on right after start up, but sounds like something in the vents for heat and air conditioning

It could be an exhaust leak, they tick. Get a spray bottle and fill it with some water and a bit of dish soap to make it bubbly. Then spray down wherever you suspect a leak and start out up, you'll see bubbles where the leak is.

The only other thing that could make noise back there is a fuel pump, but I don't think it would tick.
