Has anyone ever had a problem with the water bypass gasket leaking after replacing it mine seem to leak still any help would be great

LOL LOL I just....

Oh, after replacing it. I just had an unchanged one blow out

Wow. To leak after? I suppose over-torquing it <too tight> could bow the cap out. I doubt it though. Bite the bullet. At least loosen the screws and see if the gasket is still whole or debris got in between mating surfaces. Maybe cracked cap? Freakin exhaust is a pain in the way there.

I picked up this Permatex Right Stuff at Advance and used it on the bypass plate when I did the LIM gasket. Worked great, no leaks.
