Water/Methanol Injection vs nitrous vs intercooler

a friend of mine told me to just run a 50 wet shot of nitrous and another with a supercharged cobalt said to run water/methanol injection. i want to go inter cooler but yeah something came up and i can run nitrous or water/meth real cheaper since i barely race the car and its my daily. are any of these as efficient as an intercooler? ive used nitrous before on my lt1 and yeah its not hard but u do have to pull some timing back on the tuning so the na runs aren't as good so idk how that will effect a sc car. my buddy with the colbalt has been running meth for a while and he says its the best but then again he already has an intercooler so its just helping the intercooler i guess. lmk and thanks guys.

nitrous > intercooler > meth.....as far as cooling properties go. there is a lot more to know besides this though...

please feel free to google all three to these subjects, then we will learnify you on what we think about each application.

The problem with nitrous is that you'll only get the cooling benefits when it's engaged. So you'd literally have to be spraying every time you went wide open throttle. I can't imagine ever needing to rely on a shot of nitrous to be my intercooler, especially considering how inexpensive intercoolers are for these cars.

The thing is E85 doesn't replace an intercooler; it's just something you can use in addition to it (likewise with the nitrous). A Cam/ IC setup is the best, hands down. Add E85 to that if you want to and you'll still get the added benefits of doing so.
