unfortunately my rear strut towers r rusted and i doubt if i can find a shop nearby to fix them. so ive been looking for a gp body to do a engine swap (and other parts if needed). i found one and its a 97-01 body style (same as mine which is a 98 4dr) this one is a two. the plus side is it has a sunroof. i havent seen the car up close, my uncle is going to checkit out for me. the owner says the engine is bad (its a gt). my questions are, wat is a 2 dr gp worth wit a bad engine? and wat parts from a 4dr 97-01 gp will fit on a 2dr 97-01 gp? like will the front seats fit, the rear seat, the rear deck... things like that. im pretty sure all the mechaical things are interchangeable, if not let me know wats not.

if it's a solid shell with a transmission... i wouldn't go over 1250. a running gtp could be found for 2500-3k. pretty much everything short of door panels would switch out. gm changed a few things in the pcm in 03, but 98-02 are the same, so i've been told.

No its not a gtp, its a black 2 dr witjh a roof, bad motor, good trans., I'm unsure about the rest, I'm still waiting on my uncle to get me more info

you mean 97-03?

Seats are different (coupe's fold), door skins are different (different size doors).

Unless the body is mint (which they never are), 900 or less.

800 is bout wat I was thinking jus based off of wat he described. So the seat in a four door will not fit in a two door? Or will I jus lose the folding option? And wat about the back seat, are those interchangable?

it'll most likely fit. the bottom part is held in with plastic ring and the top is held in with like 4 bolts. i can't see GM changing much in between the two
