Wastegate prob.

got a code that read wastegate solenoid failed...from a stop then wot the car will bog a lil then take off..is this a common prob from the wastegate failure?
 


You don't have a "wastegate" unless your turbo. The only wastegate on S/C car would be the BBV. I would first check vacuum lines going to it, and if I appeared fine then i would bypass it, they rarely ever go out.
