1991 SE
Just swapped engine in a car that has been sitting.
Afterwards the engine fired right up but the check engine,
low coolant, high temp, low fuel and a dimly lit oil light are all on!
The oil, coolant and such are just fine.
I have heard about a problem with the instrument cluster being the culprit.
could it be a missing ground?
The car shifts hard but otherwise drives fine.
I am handy with a soldering iron so if I need to replace a part in the dash cluster (and it is available) I could.
Anybody had this weird problem?
The temp gauge and fuel gauge work just fine.
p.s. the odometer stopped working as well.
