Want to know what a GenV sounds like? (Video)

Lol, went to the convince store earlier and figured I'd take a quick video of the new GenV. To be honest I'm slightly disappointed but thats only becuase I have a huge 3.2 pulley on it right now becuase we were testing some things a while back and haven't swapped back over to the 2.8 yet. Still, fun none the less. I'll be sure to take another video once the 2.8 is back on and I actually have some power. :th_king-evil:

Not for the whine but for all the dummy lights on teh dash. Whats the deal. ABS, Airbag, and a flashing Security if I was seeing them correctl. That would drive me nuts

whatever man, genV's sound beasty with a 3.4

Pfft, wait and hear it with the 2.8. Makes the pulley I have on there now sound like a wussy. :th_crossbones1:

Ha, yeah..... about that.

Seeing as my car has no ABS, airbag, and the only security is me and Chuck Norris... I just haven't taken the bulbs out of the instrument pannel yet. :D

Dude...please buy another CD to play in your car next time. :th_wtf:

LOL

Sounds good. (the GenV and exhaust that is:th_thumbsup-wink:)

Rofl, it's just one song on a CD with 17 other classic rock songs. That one just happened to be playing at the time. :D

Did they convince you of anything? ;)

Based off what little I saw of the outside I might've known where you were.

Off topic, did they ever finish that interchange? I was last there in September and they hadn't finished yet.

no kanya west fans. ehh yall dont know what yall are missing :) the blower sounded mean as hell

Lol, I just like that one song. Kill me for it. :th_peaceout:

They convinced me that NOS energy drink and a slim jim does not actually increase my horsepower like I previously suspected. :(

But yeah they got it done a few months ago. Kinda strange driving up it and such though since we've never had anything like that around here before. In the video I was actually out of town on a access road so it would probably have been hard to pinpoint my location unless you lived here for a while and are familiar with all of the back roads and such. You should be able to easily recognize where I was in the Skyline video though. : D

Too bad we did'nt know you was here back then, we could of gotten together and done something. Hell, one of my friends that drives the black GTP is a police officer on base. :th_biggrin2:

Sounds good man.

Thanks. :D

How much diff or gains do you get by upgrading to a gen V? I was going to have my SC ported and polished, is it better to just put in a gen V?

That all depends on how far you want to go with your car. You don't really need a GenV until you start maxing out the Gen 3 blower. If later on down the road you plan on doing that then you might as well go ahead and get a GenV now. However swapping over to a GenV requires more work, and cost more than just porting your Gen3.

It all depends on your setup and how far you plan to go.
