Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

does anybody know where I can find the rings made of mdf?
I want to build a fiberglass box and making my own of plywood to me is useless.

My guess is to cut your own? I never knew you could buy them already like that. If you disagree with me head to google.com, I hear that have lots of stuff.

Glad I could help out :) Can't wait to see your design. If you need blue prints or instructions, I have some saved from various sites that help you construct your own box. You have to remember every subwoofer is different so you need to make the sub box fit the needs of your subwoofer to obtain maximum performance.

You need to find the T/S specs for the woofer your using, and then custom tailor the box to those specs, and if youve never designed/built a box i wouldnt touch fiberglass. standard MDF is quite the challenge, but if you have any questions shoot me a PM, ive been doing this **** for about 6 years, and just finished the new box for the GP [although i learned an important lesson, then beer does mess up my lines when cutting]

I would galdly take any prints and specs you all have.
my plan is to put two 8 where the rear console folds down and a 15 in the trunk.

Luda why do you say fiberglass is bad?

fiberglass is bad for your first custom box. becuase think with fiberglass your are working with curve and contours that take up and take away air space compared to a mdf box which is square. so fiberglass is tough to get the specs down right.

This box took about 3 weeks

its messy, time consuming, and a pain to work with the first few times. if you REALLy want to fiberglass the enclosure into the car i recomend a hybrid design. build the actual enclosure out of MDF, then fiberglass it into the car.

if you give me the subwoofer specs [Thiele/small parameters] of your sub and amp i could tell you what size enclosure you need, and whether you should go ported/vented or sealed
