just gonna give everyone out there a heads up before buying from them if you do they require a signature upon delivery if you a busy hard wroking individual and are not home when UPS arrives you have to drive all the way out to there delivery center to pick up your package because they wont leave it on your doorstep this to me is a great inconvenience. i would be cautious before buying from them next time i will look else where first

^^ seriously? SERIOUSLY? when people see the title they assume WBS scammed you in one way or another. this just seems like a pointless rant. Mike always provided me with a proper service. im pretty sure signature policy depends on the value of shipped items.

how much was your order? i have bought various parts from wbodystore and have never had to sign for delivery

hey man, hes just trying to protect you. and thats with the shipping company. around here, UPS dont leave nothin on the doorstep without a sig. FedEx on the other hand does not require a sig.
make sure you know who you are ranting about next time you rant.

no it is the person who ships it that decides whether or not signature is required. that being said when you track your order there would have been a notification telling you you need to be present to sign for the package

i live in a good area and things get left on my door step all the time, my package was only 300 bucks, its up to the seller not the shipping company, ive contact both companies and theres nothing they can do at this point. its a huge inconvenience to me when buying something from them shouldnt be. i just wanna let potential customers know what there getting into here its just a warning

ONLY 300 bucks? In my opinion, I would NEVER want something 300 bucks left on my doorstep. Even if the neighborhood is good, your delivery driver may not be. And if it was a huge issue, as said before you'll have the means to find out if it requires a signature beforehand. The seller CHOSE for YOUR protection (he doesn't live in your neighborhood so he doesn't know the area) to require a signature on a high-dollar order. If you're against this, you email or if applicable leave a purchase note for no delivery signature.

contacted UPS and i cant just leave a note also the ordered already shipped so the seller cant do anything about it, yes only $300 its not like itll be left there for days i just work durning the day time when they come. he shouldnt think he knows what best for me thats stupid this is a problem and something ill remember for next time

I'm talking about future orders, as in, next time you make a large purchase like that (I would NEVER send a $300 order out without requiring a signature) send the seller an email, or if there is a spot on the confirmation screen for special notes, let them know.

And tell me, if you lived in the ****ing ghetto and he DIDN'T put a signature requirement on the order and it got stolen, you'd be mad at him for not asking for one. And don't say "no I'd be mad at my at the people that stole it" because you wouldn't be, you wouldn't know who stole it. He played the "rather safe than sorry" card, because YOU didn't take the initiative to let him know otherwise. So stop playing this dumb game. Send it back with a ***** note complaining about requiring a signature, and purchase the same item from ZZP or 3800performance. I'll guarantee unless you specify otherwise, they'll also put a signature requirement on unless you tell them otherwise.

how is the concept of keeping your package and goods safe and secure a stupid idea.?
i can SOMEWHAT agree that its of an inconvience to have to worry about being home to sign. but at the same time. at least my things are safe so...

please elaborate. cheech.

I dont live in the getto so I don't want a signature its stupid

If I lived in the ghetto I sure as hell wouldn't steal from my neighborhood. Why? Because its the ghetto and there's nothing nice to take. I'd have to make a trip to the rich white neighborhood like the one you live in. :)

well ok no ones gonna agree on this but i think someone potentially buying from them should know they do this to at least email them before hand and tell them not to do this to there package just a warning

Be responsible for your own package. Dont blame someone else for your work schedule. If you cant be there make arrangements to pick it up or have a friend or family member be there if you cant be. Dont bash a good vendor for your own impatience.

THis is the dumbest thread ever.. again you've wasted our time...

If you don't want to sign for stuff, contact UPS, theres a service where they stick a barcode on your window and scan that when stuff gets delivered, then they leave the package behind.. you are basically waiving your need to sign for stuff.

And clearly you don't pay attention. Singing for items is not the sellers fault.

i had to chase the UPS guy who i just missed, yeah he wanted a signature for a 30 dollar part, ( from rockauto) do i care, not really.

your post makes no sense at all, go pick up your part at the ups warehouse, is that so hard? or have them drop it the next day. all done with a phone call.

having it delivered to your work is the best idea so far.

Hmm funny, every time I know a package needs a signature, I leave a paper that states I am aware of the delivery on that day and explain that I am away for whatever reason. Then I leave my signature, dated on the paper for them to use.
