Vote: Led smoked vs Stock tail lights



Yeah, same spoiler you have. It's basically a bird bath everytime it rains.

But, I believe it's the best looking spoiler for these cars, the SD spoiler, is just too big. it's obnoxious.
 
I've had the smoked red LEDs on my red GT now for about 2 years and still think it was the best looking tail light made for the GP. I struggled over buying new OEM style or the LEDs.....LEDs are the way to go in my opinion. Better light output and look much better in my opinion.
 
I have the red LED tails and they are great. Very bright and fit well. However I do have a nearly 1 inch gap under the light housings, it's only noticeable if you squat down to look.
 
OK. I was planning on getting stock replacements for my 99 red gtp. But this has got me thinking about the LED tails especially if I can find a local body shop that will tint them. I assume you guys are getting these from ebay or amazon? Also if I am getting them painted like Hardlyaninch has, would I be better off to get the red non-smoked or the red smoked?
 


I got my red smoked off ebay for 168 shipped check my sig for pic. If you get the smoked ones you probably don't need them tinted.
 
Nope its how they came. The ebay thumbnails don't show the smoked ones just the normal red ones iirc which is why your confused. If they say "Smoked Red" in the description it should be the ones I have.
