We have selected a Hotel for those looking for a place to stay on Friday, May 10th and or Saturday, May 11th. The venue selected provides ample space, parking, safety, is a short trip from Belle Isle, is surrounded by places to eat, and is fairly priced. All those making a reservation will be "blocked" in a similar area of the building with other group members. All rooms exit to the outside of the building (directly to the parking lot). We have a large number of rooms available to us, but reservations need to be made quickly.

Due to the increasing popularity of this event, we have chosen to shift the venue of our gathering from Belle Isle in Detroit, Michigan, to Memorial Park in Royal Oak, Michigan (just a few miles to the North). Let me preface with this - not only will Memorial Park present us with more usable “rented” space, but it is beautiful, safe, and adjacent to Woodward Ave. - home of the world famous “Woodward Dream Cruise”. We are BEYOND THRILLED to have the opportunity to fill this park area with our W-Body/3800 powered vehicles! Those that are joining us from a distance should not expect the trip to Royal Oak to increase travel time; actually, it may be more easily accessible to many of you! It is also important to note that the Memorial Park location will bring us even CLOSER to the Fairfield Inn Hotel that we have chosen for boarding. With this new venue, we will have access to permanent bathrooms and play structures for children. It is with certainty that I can say Memorial Park will make our event more successful!

ok Less than a month away and still gaining steam, Over 260+ now with Facebook And plenty more i have been telling that dont have a Facebook, It is going to be huge make sure you mark your calendars for MAY 11th which is a Saturday to come hang out and enjoy the W-Body scene in a huge way....none of these 15-20 car meets.... This is worth driving a few hours for.
Lets try and keep the Community strong and growing.... Show others why you love this body style still....
 


I am looking forward to this. The date is approaching very fast.

I'm a big W-body fan and it should be awesome seeing this many in one place at one time.
 
I'll be headed up from dayton Friday night with the Buick. Plan on doin some gamblin friday (getting my first monthly bonus this Friday... Yeaaahhhh) and then the meet on Saturday. Anyone else from Dayton headed up?
 


Only a couple days a away now.

Saturday's weather looks nice here highs are from 65-70 in the afternoon. Only a slight chance of showers in the early morning.
 
Sucks I won't have my build done in time, but I'm still coming over. I can't wait to see this show. 3.4 setups as far as the eye can see, LOL.
 


I'm excited. I'll be cruising Woodward Friday night as well. Hope to see some of you guys...
