What does teh speed signal hae to do with the fuel tuning on a 98 Grand Prix ecm. I have not found any where tht states what its for. Is it really needed for a rwd swap?
 


it mostly effects idle and dfco. You can get some stalling conditions, but otherwise you dont need a VSS. I have put a VSS on all of the RWD swaps I have done to eliminate any potential problems, but it is as I said not required.

If you are doing a manual trans RWD swap.. I would put effort into installing a VSS.
