Greetings,
My scangauge came today and Ive been playing with it since I got home from work. Ive noticed some variations in the data between SG, Torque and the DIC. For the record, I am using torque with a cheap, Amazon sourced ELM327. Here are a couple examples:
Voltage:
DIC 14.4
SG 14.1
Water Temp (at fan kick on point):
SG 218
Torque 221
Throttle Position(idling, revving the engine slightly):
SG 12%
Torque 15%
Gallons/hr(at ~750RPM idle):
SG 0.38
Torque 0.59
Im just curious why these values differ, especially since both devices pull their data through the OBD port. Which is more correct, Scangauge or Torque? I would lean towards the SG, given its price and reputation, but thats just me. Has anyone here tested these devices and if so what were your results?
Thanks
