hi i my transmission isn't shifting right or is slow to enguage latley my 1-2 shift will clunk when is shifts more when its cold and the car feels like is down on power cuz of power loss from the transmission not shifting right or sliping very mild slip though any thoughts

I had a similar problem to yours... My transmission would clunk on 1 and 2 and felt like it strained to get to third...When I had shut the car off and turn it back on...it shifted correctly. Well, I fix that problem...It happen to be the Pressure Control Solenoid in the transmission. This part deals with the clutching of the transmission. I put that in and it fixed it...I had put it on a computer and it coded that it needed the PCS. So, I had a friend mechanic fix it for me. Also...he recommended changing the transmission fluid after you put the new piece in. I used Castro Dexron 6 (VI) If you can get a hold of the Mobile 1 6 that would be good too...Read your manual to make sure that it takes that kind of transmission fluid first though lol. I hope this helped...

I say try dropping the pan first and putting in a new filter...then replace the fluid with Dexron VI...if that doesn't help...have fun...most anything transmission related is either cheap and a PITA, or expensive and easy...or expensive and b!tch...take your pick

i changed the tranny fluid like 7000 km ago

lol i agree... 7 dollar seal for my trans and i gotta pull the whole damn thing apart just to get to the damn thing lol.
