"Upper torque strut/mount" Bolt Torque Specs

Can anyone inform me what the Bolt Torque specs are for the bracket "torque strut/mount" to radiator support? I believe the torque strut to bracket/stay is 37 ft lbs, just need the specs for the bracket to radiator support bolts...Thanks..

The spec is : Tight

In reality it's likely the same as the other. I've never found anyone that actually torqued it to the proper spec though.

I'm with Bill. I just keep going until I can't. I've only ever had one make noise once and it's because I tightened one side and forgot to tighten the other.

Haynes... "the official fire starter"

If you get a chance, get the set of FSM's for your car or the dvd with it. You'll find they are much more informative and awesome compared to the Haynes.

For future reference, these specs are out of a 99 GM service manual:
Upper Radiator Support Bolts: 21 lb-ft
Engine Mount Strut Bolt & Nut: 35 lb-ft. These specs must be similar for 97's thru 2003's
I used some blue medium thread lock tight to help keep the Engine Mount Strut Bolt & Nut from backing out. So far they're holding just fine.
