UPDATE on trans flush making noise!

i went and got another filter and decided to go into the pan again. i figure the whine was to coincidental. it wasnt making noise b4 the flush and filter and i drove like 25 miles. so i decided to take a look in the pan. noticed the filter was moving up and down when touched a lil too easy. so i decided change it. it looks like there is a small crack in the plastic where it hooks up to the tranny. like i say it looks like its a crack. so thinking that that would maybe get some air in there, maybe would increase line pressure.....theres my noise right???? well i drove it and it seems quieter but its still there, also seems to shift sooner. so now i have the negative battery cable unhooked, thinking that would reset the shift adapt parameters......we will see what happeds. i am crossing my fingers....o and i will be returning that filter back to the auto parts store. if this was the problem which i am not tottally sure..wouldnt it be nice?...i am going to say a prayer, and i probobly need whoever reads this to say one too =). i will know in about an hour. thanks.

oops sorry it did not fix thye problem. it is the tcc giving me the noise and sometimes it wont engage in the tcc. once it engages the noise, whine goes away. i will change it.

if the whine goes away when the tcc engages, you have a bad roller bearing in the torque converter, you need to replace the converter for that
