soo i put together the rear head replaced the exhaust valve and head gasket.........started it up and i checked the oil and theres horrible air pushing out of the dipstick and where u put the oil in at....

now i just finished taking off the front head and theres no blown head gasket, no burnt valves .....the only thing i seen was that 2 of the exhaust valves where like a whitish color and the middle exhaust valve was jus plain black thats all the details i can give (for now)

soo does anyone have any ideas?????? lol
this is deff. starting to be a real HASSLE

and on top of this u guys......

i checked to see how my pcv valve was doing and what did i notice??? there wasnt one there???? i cant belive i forgot to put a pcv valve in the new upper intake that i bought....so basicly i been driving with no pcv for about 2 months str8

^^^ that would cause extreme suction I would think.....no pcv explains why you have some black exhaust valves, oil leaves a lot of residue when it burns

The PCV valve just releases the crankcase pressure back into the intake. The vacuum from the engine pulls the excess pressure from the crankcase. That is why on S/C cars with the m90, you see oil on the IC sometimes.

Now with no PCV you can do both. it will vent the air and also pressurize the crankcase when you go into boost because you are now pushing air rather than sucking air.

The white on the exhaust valves is normal. I would be concerned with the black valve. Hopefully you do not have a tuliped valve or burned valve.

Are the heads on or off the car?? IF they are on, do a compression and leakdown test to see what each cylinder is doing and how it is sealing.

Can you post any pics of the head and the valves?

i had a turbo trans am and this happened to me, it ended up being a cracked ring land. The compression is leaking past the rings and into your crankcase, and then it comes out your filler and dipstick.

If there is air pushing out the dipstick tube run a cylender leak down test. It sounds like piston rings are worn.

Yeah when u have air comin out the dipstick or oil fill hole u prob have bad rings. If u had air comin out the exhaust it would be burnt exhaust valves and if it were comin back up through the intake then it would be burnt intake valves

yup. sounds like you need better sealing at the dip stick (if your rings arent gone) and put a catch can between intake and pcv, so it doesnt shoot oil into your intake...we do this on dsm cars, works good (keeps that awful mess out of the ic and pipes...yuck) you can even put a breather filter in the same hose route as well.
