• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Um... Hi!

Lurker turned member today. I'm a member of W-body, so you MIGHT know me. :)

I'm from Quebec, I speak French and I eat poutine. I don't wear a funny attire and speak with a funny accent or go woodchopping singing O' Canada while riding a horse in a forest of Maple trees. I do, however, live in the land of Canadian bacon & maple syrup. [/notsofunnyintroduction]

Fair enough? :th_laugh-lol3:

HAI THERE!

PS - Oh yeah, I own a Grand Prix. :th_jester:

Salut! bienvenue! je sais pas si tu connais se site ? GM3800Qu c'est un site juste pour les gars du Quebec,
pis pas mal drole ton intro :D

Coming right through, sir.

I love the look and the feel (when sitting my hand on top of it) than the original "cobrahead" style. It's also a perfect match considering both share the same colors so it doesn't look stupid.

It's the GT version, which is leather wrapped (and I might add that it feels much more leather than the GP one). The regular version is rubber and as Clarkson would say, RUBBISH.

Haha awesome.

Feels like a T handle then right?

I was considering a regal GS shifter but they still look awkward.

That one looks much better.

Straight swap or what?

I couldn't say if it feels just like T-handle, because I don't think I remember how they feel (and I'm just 21 years old, so I don't even remember the last time I actually touched one), but they definitely feel nice. I like just sitting my hand on top of it and this car is well designed to do just that and it's not as annoying as the original knob is.

It is absolutely the most straight forward thing you can do inside your car. Just pull the booth gently and remove the U-pin that holds them in place with a flathead.

The one I got was pretty dirty from seeing all kinds of weather at the yard, so I sprayed it a couple of times with Meguiar's Gold Class "Rich Leather" conditioner (although it looked as if I actually dipped the thing into the stuff) and made it all pretty.

No problem. :th_thumbsup-wink:

I also know of guys using Intrigue ones since they are W's and they just want to stick to that. I wasn't a big fan of the shape and went for the GAGT instead, which I already liked from the beginning.
