ughhh, trunk wont open!

Ok, so the button on my key fob doesnt work, I dont know why. And now the key wont even open the trunk! Its like its not going in all the way.

When I press the button on the fob, I can hear a clicking noise coming from the BCM. Could it be the relay or do I need to buy a new trunk release selenoid? Im gonna buy a new trunk lock tomorrow. And ofcourse, my right blinker went out in my tail light!

The relay would be easy to test...just jump a wire to it and listen..if it pops it works.

same thing happened to my car. but the button works. just not the key. im not worried. but when you do get it open. get someone to press the botton while u look at it. thats how i fixed my button problem.

mine had a bunch of garbage and nasty gook all over it

if you have a loud system you can mess your lock up i had a car with a loud system and it ruined the trunk lock....grew out of having rediculously loud music im only 20 so more like a had a kid and it forced me to grow out of it lol anyway have you checked your reverse lights fuse under the hood the trunk pop is wired in with this fuse so if you have no reverse lights then that could be it....then at least the fob and button in the car will work if its just that fuse....your lock it prob messed up internally though
