u bend question help

i went to a muffler shop and i told the guy that i wanted to put delete the u bend and he told me that if i do put the straight ubend pipe by moving the o2 will efect my car. I that true or notting will happen if i put the ubend delete. thank

cut the ubend out, weld straight pipe up with a bung for the o2 in teh same spot and it wont harm a thing.

no it wont just mount it sideways on the pipe. gm didnt want to sidemount it from the factory because they felt it would get messed up. plenty of cars have them sidemounted stock and it doesnt affect it at all.
