So im watchin the Bears game today and during halftime im talkin cars with the brothers.

Anyway we came across two subjects.

The Cobalt SS...

Its supercharged! ...Some are...

Wtf Its a 4 banger!?!?! Top of the line one has 205 hp... This was a upset. My bro wants a car that has a nice performance package, but at the same time doesnt want to spend over 17K.

For about 14-15K you can get a SRT-4. Man those cars might have some go to em, but ITS A NEON. I cannot get over that fact.

He was also looking at an RX-8. Now we arefor staying with domestic but the RX-8 is a sharp car but has some plus and negatives to it.

So I did some quick research on the g6 gtp (I have never heard of it b4) and I came to find out that ppl say its a crap car.

Heres some backing up info on what im talking about when i say bad reviews:

2006 Pontiac G6 Consumer Review

He was talking about how he wants a ws6...

Now I had one for a little while and it was not a pleasent cruise. I had this terrible itch for a v8 with a m6. And I got it. And the damn car was affordable and beat to ****.

None the less, if he was to purchase a ws6, he would have to do it right. Meaning at leaste spending 10K. At leaste! more like 15K for a decent one with low miles.

This would be a DD. No garage to keep the car......

I want him to get a 97-03 grand prix :)

Just felt like blabbing. Feel free to do the same :D

The new ones are turbo 230 - 260 hp(I can't remember)

Rx8's look nice, but are slow and overpriced

Ws6 as a DD doesn't seem like a a wise Idea in the midwest

Gp is an ok option.....

Trailblazer SS is in the 17 - 20 K range

Used BMW???(like a late 90's)

Thats my .02 :th_peaceout:

... How come a gp is an ok decision? For the price I feel they are a rock solid car. Plus you get a heated drivers seat

We've had our G6 since July of '06....and it's a great car. I don't think I can take ONE guy's opinion into account. We even got the panoramic sunroof that everyone *****es about. If you know that it's going to be noisy and cold (like almost every sunroof car I've owned) then big deal....it more than makes up for it when you open it up on a nice day and have all that open space over your head.
