Twin gtp e engines custom car runs 9.11

Yup trans are slipping bad, especially the rear since I can't turn down the power.
Up front I limit the power to 20 psi of boost.

9.11 @ 145 mph backing off before the end (out of gear on the rev limiter because of trans/torque converter slip).
Easily an 8 second car if we can get the trans to hold the power. I can't lower power more at the back so I will have to put on a bigger wastegate.
then with less slip and less power the car will go faster.

Ran a 1.32 60 foot in practice, then tried a full pass for the 1st time. 9.11 @ 145mph.
0-60 mph was recorded by GPS at 1.6 seconds !

Car revs 6900rpm from start to finish the shift light never turns OFF !!! Talk about slip...
The traction was really good making the problem even more obvious.

Anyone feel a draft? Lol awesome car!!
Thanks !

Lots of work. We wll be putting the stock converter on the rear engine. The custom Precision one can't handle the power I'm making.
I believe I can hit 8s easily with the stock converter there.

There was a decent headwind and I backed off before the end. An 8 would have been possible even with all the problems with a few tries but no use putting the drivetrain through the stress when there is an obvious problem.

Makes no sense to have to short shift to 4th before the 1/8 mile with 3.11 gears and 28" tall tires and 7000rpm redline

Looks like a toy now, reminds me of my rc car with dual batteries on 6s power. Both cars are nuts. No i am not comparing your car to my my rc car. Your car is insane!!!

That ain't too shabby, looks better than a G8! I'm just amazed that theres a set of rules that will let the monster on a track someplace, and pleased to see the Pontiac torch sustained by folks who obviously have the arrowhead bug. Also pleased by the ET... the thing makes it look easy too. Too wild!

Thanks. The power is only 65% up front and lots of torque converter slippage on the rear setup that makes more power. Deep 8s are in the cards for sure.

1.3 60 foot without any drama and barely any spin goes straight as an arrow. All the plannig design paid off.

117" wheelbase and custom frame designed by myself. The whole car without drivetrain or drivetraon accessories weighs only 600lbs or so. And its very strong. We can lift any corner and get no noticeable flex unlike any modern unibody. The cage is a sportsman stock car style and the only part we didnt make.

This has been the coolest build I have ever seen, you guys build some really quality stuff its great to see you are following threw with it.

Def looks kool but why g8? seeing its a 6 cyl I would of gone grand prix for sure just to prove a point to others.

Edit: just realized they had a 6 cylinder base but still
