There's a noise coming from under my hood that sounds like something between tumbling rocks & fluttering newspaper. I would assume it's bad S/C bearing but idk for sure. Anyone know what it might be?:confused:


Just when you think you've got all your problems fixed new ones arrive to keep you busy.
 


Alright I can do than. Lucky I have an extra nose drive I can use. But, if it is the S/C wouldn't I get that noise all the time & not just when the car is moving?
 




If it were any of those problems I would here the noise @ idle & I don't. It is something loose >_< I just don't know what. Unless. . . a bad strut can cause weird noises like that.
 


i had a caddy come into my shop and only under a load would it make this weird a$$ sound i guess like tumbleing rocks coudnt tell were it was coming from i put it on the rack and stuck my ear up to it after i had it under a load (sum1 power braking it) was comeing from bottom of the trans pulled starter and plastic cover torq convertor bolts were loose as hell took um out lock tighted umm havent seen car since that was over 2 yrs ago,, mite not be your problem just a thought dont hurt to check.:th_shakinghead2:
