1988 Grand Prix

My Grand Prix quit on me on Thursday. As many of you know, it was running on 5 cylinders. I am trying to get it running again. I know how to check for compression, but I would like to know what all I need to check to see if I'm getting spark to the bad cylinder.
A guy on another forum told me also to check the ohms of the injectors to see if they're out of specs. I can do that too.
I would really like to get this motor running good soon. Every day it runs on 5 cylinders, it is washing the oil away from the cylinder walls of the dead cylinder. I want to stop it from further damaging the cylinder.
