trunk problems

This is for people that know this car, I lock my trunk, it has a lock inside and when activated wont allow me to open the trunk either with the button inside the car, and my key wont open it, dont know why, I tried to pull down the rear seat but it says the release for them is in the trunk, does anybody know if I can get them down some other way? or how else do I open it without having to go to the locksmith or dealer? please help thanks

I'm not really sure that this should be in the how to's section but a few things like what year is the car ? on my 97 the center fold's down and then you use your key to unlock the flap and then you can get right into the trunk, and what car ? a grand prix i would assume ??

sorry about posting it in this section...but it is a 1999 grand am SE...i mean i can kind of squeeze a long pole into the trunk and see in it with a flash light but its so hard cuz i gotta squeeze one eye shut to see it but is so hard to do with only 2 hands cuz i have to spread the seats shine the light and guide this little rod...im jus hoping there is an easier way without having to pay some1 to figure it out

have you tried calling the dealer ? just tell them you were getting something out of the trunk and you accidentally knocked into the lock and now it won't let you in and is there any other way to get in there to disable it ?
