Troublshooting '96 Gran Prix

Vehicle: 1996 Pontiac Gran Prix (3.1 L)

Issue: I crank the engine and after 10 secs it sputters out and dies.

What I've changed up to three months prior: Spark Plugs, Spark Plug Wires, Ignition Coils, general upkeep.

What I've changed since it broke down: Fuel Filter, Fuel Pump (w/ filter).

I'm at a loss. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
 


First figure out what your losing, make sure you have good fuel pressure and spark..I know the 3.1s are notorious for crank and cam sensors that seems to display the same problems you are having..
 
ya i was just thinking the same thing. crank or cam sensor. i havent had a problem with my 3.1 yet
