Tried to scan with GM TECH 2

So my 99 gtp has the abs/tcs light currently on. I took the car to class tonight and the automotive instructor attempted to scan it with a GM TECH 2. It had a code that we cleared for the wheel speed sensor. (fixed broken wire) When he tried to run the test on the abs/tcs the scanner would say "Release Brake Pedal" This is all I was able to find out about my car.. He thinks the EBCM is bad. My only concern is that today, I left for work and the abs primed and the ABS light went out. On my way home from work both lights went out and everything was good. After restarting the car the lights are back on. I'd really like some input.. One instructor thinks it may be a brake switch and the other says EBCM. Im very frustrated right now and would really appreciate some help..

If you think it's an ebtm or brake switch, do the diagnostics. Crawl your butt under the dash and test the switch, it's so damn simple we'd make Brandon do it on his car. Then check the damn codes again. If you have wheel speed sensor again, replace the hub cause your wires may be faulty or have pulled out.

if ya got broken wires... im sure their still broken... and prob making good connection in one case.. and coming loose in another.. just replace hub
.. or ignore the light

Bad EBCM...Works when cold but when engine bay warms up the lights come back on, and I lose my cruise control. (The only reason I care to fix the problem)

yeah kinda same deal with my car man, when cold its great then once it warms up throws codes, i get a code for gm high speed lan circuit low, but wires seem to ohm out fine.
