Does anyone happen to know the weight of a 4T65eHD transmission full of fluid with Diff? Im picking one up friday and i need to know if ill need the cherry picker or not

My friend picked up mine (no fluid but complete) from the back of a Dakota and walked it into my back yard for me, by himself. I'd say under 200 lbs. Two guys no prob.

Picked up a 4t60, that was half full of fluid and removed the converter, right off the garage floor and threw it into the bed of a ferd f-onesh!tty. Just pushed it off the bed onto the ground at the scrap yard lol

Sent from my LG G3

bill and i humped my old tranny into the back of his truck. i took the heavy side, and bill said a tranny never felt so light with me on the other side lol

if need be, i could hump it into the back of a truck solo, converter and all. i also pulled a short block off the stand, put it on the floor, then humped it back on the stand. solo. so im a good grunt when need be lol

I've hefted transmissions (still full of fluid) out of GP trunks alone. Shortblock.. ehhhh I've learned my lessons, that's what hoists are for.

i failed to own a hoist at that time. i took it off to do the rear cover. flipped it over, then put it on a tire. the cylinders make nice hand holds.

I made a notch in my trans support bracket.. so I could put the hook in the exact spot of balance every time.

I should sell that bracket for big moola.

F that bs. My trans felt like a fat pig. I slid it around on a pallet most of the time but still - f trying to carry it!

that was another fun venture - tying to balance the trans. Good to know for future reference if I ever take it out through the top again
