Transmission slipping/shuddering.

I have a 2004 GP. The transmission went out on me the other week, totally gone and took an axle with it. After replacing it with a used one with 60k on it the transmission was slipping and not running right. I had the transmission flushed and a new filter put in and the same thing happened. So I got a different used transmission, just put that one in and now the transmission is shuddering when you accelerate fast with the car. It wont do anything unless you start to get into the throttle. I was thinking there is no way I could have 2 bad transmissions. Any thoughts on what this could be?

It sounds like to me that something in the front end is not right. Maybe the axles or wheel hubs...as for the tranny's that sounds like u had some bad luck :(

had this sam problem with my 98 gtp 2 trans still doin the same thing, come to find out the guy who owned it put a new tensioner on it and pinched the ground wire under the coil pack bracket check that ground !!! good thing i got the car for next to nuthin lol thanks to my buddy at morads the trans didnt cost me much:th_thumbsup-wink:

Ok. So I checked that ground and it is good. There is some play in the engine when I rev it. Do you think that could be the problem. When I drive slow everything is fine, no slipping of the trans or anything like that. Only when I give it some gas it shudders and feels like its slipping and the engine seems to lose power but the TC doesnt kick on or anything, it just seems to lose power? If I give it alot of gas it still doesnt seem like it has much power but it stops the shuddering. Could it be in the ignition system or if it is motor mounts how would that effect the power and how would I fix that? Another thing I was wondering about was a plug that runs next to the transmission by where the plug is for the transmission itself. It has a two way plug connection and I think it is blue in color. Before I even pulled the first transmission I noticed that is was just laying there not plugged into anything. Is that just a diagnostic plug? I am getting a scan tool tommorow to hook up to see if I get any codes but any other suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated. this thing is driving me crazy!
