Last week, my car stopped going into 4th gear and started to not want to shift into new gears as I'm accelerating. This all coincided with my TPS taking a ****, as was evident by the P0122 code. Tested all the wires and the TPS, determined that the wires were good but the unit was bad so I replaced it with a junkyard unit I got for $5. Had the codes deleted and the CEL hasn't come back on yet.
The 4th gear issue I understand is that the spline have been stripped. I can't figure out why the transmission is still not wanting to shift as I accelerate (only once the transmission is nicely warmed up). The car isn't throwing any trans codes at all. Could the solenoids be going bad just not quite enough to throw a code yet?
