Transmission pressure solenoid?

I got a decent offer..Im trying to sell some old tools, guy has a 02 impala with 120K on it. He says runs/drives but when at stop it doesnt go right away, then it goes into gear. Says its the pressure solenoid in the tranny. What would it cost, lets say if I have a shop do it, as I really hate working on trannys.

I have not looked book value for the car yet, but i assume i could get around 2000$ for it running and driving good.

Could also be a worn input piston. That's more trouble than just a solenoid.

Or just drop in a jy tranny yourself, if your willing to fork out what a shop is going to charge you
