I about 90 percent positive that my 3rd gear is gone.... when you are driving it takes off normally, shifts first to second just perfect. however you have to let off the gas at 46 mph to get the tranny to shift. at 45 mph its over 3000 rpm. once you hit 46 and let off it shifts and runs about 2k rpm. there are no check engine codes and everything seems to run fine other than it not shifting at 45. am i correct in assuming that my 3rd gear is gone? If my tranny is shot does anyone know somewhere in the midwest that is a good rebuilder that doesnt cost an arm and a leg. i got a quote for 2000 for a rebuild...... ouch. Thanks Everyone.
