Anyone want to translate These codes for me?

P0741B Torque converter Clutch System Stuck Off
P1811C Maximum Adaptive Long Shift

Sounds like a rebuild to me, Car has 159,000 on it, and won't go into overdrive. I read that the 4th gear goes out. Just looking for a second, third, fourth opinions.....Be gentle.:th_thumbsup-wink:
 


well from what iv read if the 4th clutch shaft smooths out you wont get a code from the trans. cuz the ecu still thinks the trans is working fine cuz its still moving properly. i might be wrong. and as far as the trans codes you listed i have no idea:/ but yea sounds like a rebuild is in order for you.
 
the P1811 is from the computer detecting what it thinks is an abnormally long shift from gear to gear. the computer puts the trans line pressure at max. my car had that code and all i did was erase it and i stopped. dirty fluid can cause it, grit in the pressure sensor (i think that was it) might cause it. that other one i have no idea
