Hello all,
My son just called me from college...said his 04 grand prix was "done for". He said the tranny slipped a while back and did it intermittently, but rarely.
I figured it would go out at some point.
He called tonight and said his "transmission light" came on and the steering wheel locked up.
Do these cars have transmission lights? I have only heard of check engine and MIL's before on cars I've owned. Why would transmission failure have a relation to steering wheel problems???
last question...whats a decent midwestern price on a rebuild for a car like this. I am very unfamiliar with Pontiacs in general. (obviously)
