TransGo shift kit extra parts

I have installed 3 of these kits and have only done the springs and spacers in the accumulator in the pan. Now I have 3 boxes of the extra parts.

Does anyone have a use for the extra parts?

I think you have to pull the tranny to put the rest of the kit in. Are the parts of any use if you have someone rebuild the tranny down the road?

Trying to see if I should hang on to them, toss them, or send them to someone who can use them.

Unfortunately, probably not. Most likely, you would buy an install the full trans-go kit into the new build. Unless, on some rare occasion, you're rebuilding one that already had the kit in the 1-2 / 2-3 accumulator only. In that case, you could pull the 3-4 accumulator springs off the shelf and put them in. But how often is that going to happen?

This is a good laugh, I've done a couple of these kits and have the same extra springs. I hold on to them, telling myself I'll find a use for them some day. I mean, springs are always cool, right? lol

I figure with 3 tranny's with between 150,000 and 203,000 one is bound to dump sometime and if I decide to get it rebuilt I can hand the guy the springs (not sure it would be me at that point. This shift kit is the deepest part of a tranny I have ever seen. ) but who knows.

One spring is for the 4th gear accumulator. I popped it in when I replaced my EPC solenoid and shift solenoids. You need to remove the side cover and channel plate/valve body to replace it, so normally I wouldn't bother.
