• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Trans Tuning

mechguy

Poppin 'em thangs
I'm using a DHP PT on my 03 GTP.

How can I be positive about which shift point trans table the PCM is referencing?

The options are:

1. Shift Point Cruise
2. Shift Point Hot Normal
3. Shift Point Normal
4. Shift Point Performance
5. Shift Point Urban

Another way of asking the same question is, "What is DHP's definition of Shift Point Cruise vs Shift Point Normal vs Shift Point Hot Normal?"

Also recall that 03 doesn't have a performance shift button.

Shift point urban probably refers to manually moving the shift lever, so lets cast that aside for now.

Never heard of cruise.

Hot is when the trans is over temp, normal is what it should reference most of the time, perf is when the perf switch is activated.

Never heard of urban.
