Hi I bought an 08 grand prix ( 3.8 series 3). I really wanted an manual but all they had was an automatic. but for the price i bought it anyway.... Now that i have a job i want to do a switch does anyone know of a good trans to buy? A little more power wont hurt either im only running a different exhaust and an intake but i dont plan on putting on a supercharger (I figure if you do that youd be better off getting a 5.3 in that case anyway...). if i do add anything it will probably be under drive pulleys and maybe a chip, therefore i dont need a massive trans for a supercharger or anything.... also does anyone know of a good way to switch the car to manual ( what needs to be cut and what lines have to be run other than a clutch line)....
Ive also been looking into a hand ebrake the floor one sucks its positioning is moronic in my oppinion. Has anyone changed it over to a hand one before?
