Im reading that the trans n these cars r weak but I want to build on my motir is there ne thing I can do to make it stronger or swap for a beter trans? Sry if this is a newb question.. I have ben reading the introductions n I can find an ansa to this question
I have a 98 gp gt trying to go turbo
 


well, the best thing to do is to buy a built trans. If you have another car, i guess you could pull your trans and built it up. but if your going turbo, you're better off buying a fully built trans from triple edge performance....or another place, ask blue where he got his.
 
if you go turbo, the trans will go quickly, or the motor if its not built and tuned right.

You will want to buy a fully built trans, they run about 2000-3500 for a good one.
