Trans shifting question

I noticed when i drive my automatic 2003 grand prix gt in traffic or slow,and it shift to 1st... or 2nd,it gives a slight kick .But if i give it gas when it shifts into 1st ofr 2nd ,it does not do it but i have to be moving fast.What could be the problem?? thank you
 


I think im having a similar problem.. when it shifts around 2k under light throttle it jumps forward a bit right? it almost feels like some one rear ended you?

mine also shifts fine at wot/ heavy throttle

i couldnt quite match the problem exactly, maybe youll have better luck, you can also seach the forums here maybe youll find something but in the short time i looked i couldnt.
