im about to buy a 00 gtp and the guy say the trans is gone because it dont hold fluid. I went to see it yesterday and it goes in reverse and try to go in drive but the fluids leaking really bad from out the housing and i was wondering does any body know where it could be leaking from and if its the trans going bad or need new seals
 


Where exactly is the leak coming from? Is there a chance you could post up a picture of where the leak is? Is it leaking out of the top of the trans case by the exhaust crossover pipe or is it leaking from somewhere on the bottom? There are many areas where a bad leak could be on these transmissions and without a little more info it is hard to say.
 
from the bottom somewhere its parked on a hill with the motor going down the hill and its coming out from tip of bellhousing by the starter
