trans mounts how many

ok guys today i pulled the motor out of my 01 gt .and this is the first time that i have pulled the motor from a gp. (bonnevilles) are what i have exp with. my question is how many mounts are susposed to be on the tranny. while pulling the motor the tranny was trying to come out too wtf! anybody have a pic

well the motor and tranny are connected.... all around the bell housing and via input/output shaft.

Tranny is also connected to the hubs so are the drive shafts out?

no i know that the motor is out the question i was askins is how many mounts are on the trans because now that the motor is out you can grab the trans and move it on the pass side isnt there a mount there there wasent when i removed motor

no theres just the trans mount on the driver side and the engine mount on the pass side along with where it bolts to the engine itself on the pass side

is there a bracket that i need for the pass side then thanks

Only the bracket that supports the end of the trans by connecting it to the block. IIRC there are a total of 4 bolts for the bracket. 2 that connect it at the diff cover and to that connect it to the block.
