My tranny is destined to fail very soon I can feel it but I think i found a replacement has about 90k on it but I need to make sure it is the right one. I have a 1997 GTP is it the 4T65E or 4T65E-HD that I need???:th_scratchhead:
 


Just as mentioned above, you do have the HD version. 97s-only used the 4T65E-HD in the supercharged cars, all others this model year where just a 4T60E
 
I believe the 97 Regal LS (non-supercharged) used the standard 4T65E. Of course, that was considered a 97.5, so maybe that's the difference.
