tranny wont shift into 3rd gear. It won't shift into third at all please someone help I just did a filter and oil change and nothing helped.
 


if you no longer have 3rd gear, like it screams in second till it hits 50 mph, you let off the gas it then catches OD your trans is shot, and needs to be rebuilt, or replaced.

if all you do is drive around town it may last a while. but its the end of the road for it.

mine started out chugging in 3 rd gear at light throttle, ( around 30 to 34 mph) then it threw a code for a pcs and tcc. then one day, no more 3 rd gear. i put a used tranny in.
 


Someone doesn't want to face the truth. Unfortunately seems like your tranny is done..get a junkyard trans or built if you like and slap it in.
 
i dont want to face the truth of putting a new trans into my CAR IN MY GARAGE !!!!!. I find it hard to belive that not even oneof the sensors could be bad or anything
 


a bunch of guys have re built there own transmissions here. its a lot cheaper if you can do all the work. there are a few posts here that go over building a trans, you will need some special tools, and also need to send at least one part out to be re worked as well.
