Tranny slipping? Launching probs..

well I was driving home today from work & just to see what was up with my car..
I came up to a red light, held the brake a lil & gassed it until it was revving at 2k (TCS ON!, just rained.. street is wet a lil bit), held it & i let go of the gas waited til it hit 10mph & gassed it, it spinned the tires & i let off the gas a lil & gassed it again & im not sure (im a NOOB at these cars) if its supposed to do that but it held the gear like it was spinning at 3.2k around there & felt like my car was stuck :(.. maybe its the tranny thats giving out or maybe its the conditions i did it in, OR i just need to learn how to launch correctly, & maybe... all of the above hahaha :th_shakinghead2:..

that holding it until 2k or about i got it from a person here at the forum,
so dont blame me haha :th_liar:
 


I don't know what the car is supposed to do, I kept slamming and letting up on the throttle on wet roads with traction control on and the car acted funny. I thought I should post a transmission slipping thread.

^^^This is what I read in your post. Please..please..stop pounding on the car in the rain when you have no clue of what it should do at a given time. You are a transmission rebuild waiting to happen, it would be wise to being saving about $2,000 for that.

I admit it :p

but the thing is it will do that even though its in dry weather..
&for Your Info i never do that, first time i did so.. got me tripping on it,
pissed me off & posted the thread :th_peaceout:

It would feel like it would slip between some shifts..
& if im at a stop & say for some reason i have to step right away on the gas a hard knock would be heard & felt (MOSTLY FELT u.u) WTF u.u

OTHER REASONS FOR POSTING THE THREAD,
but yeah its rare when ill stomp on the car from a stop (:
 
I beat the pulp outta my car in the rain and posted about it. Now I am gonna say it does in when the road is dry too. Man...I beat my car a lot.

Gotcha on the translator today. It's not looking pretty. :th_nanana: Actually..can you please describe the problem that happen when the roads are dry a bit better.

thatz what i do, i have the money to do beat it, so be it haha..

& on the dry road.. when it shifts it feels kinda harsh.. sometimes !
& on SOME gears. Just when it wants to. & like i said....

I wasn't saying I beat my car, I was translating what you typed.

Save up for a trans and axles. You're heading there and like you said...you've got the money to beat it up. :th_peaceout:
