So I was thinking about taking the time to rebuild my tranny when it gets warmer out so I will be able to ride the Buell and take the time and do it right. My question is how difficult is this task going to be?? I am pretty mechanically inclined (never done a tranny before) and I have a few friends that have done trannies in the muscle cars they have offered to help. So is this something I should take on myself or is it something better left to professionals. If i do decide to do it myself what is the best master rebuild kit to pick up and is there anything that is commonly needed that doesn't come with the kit? thanks for the help
