I am having a few probs. first off its a fully rebuilt tranny.
ZZP Parts: 3.29s, 2500 stall, 4340 input, oil pump shaft, output shaft, 4th clutch shaft, shift kit, GM overhaul kit.
thats what i brought into the transmission shop. They replaced alotta other things that were worn out as well. Valve bodies and other things i dont remember. Tranny originally had 193,XXX miles on it before rebuild.
Got it on the road finally and heard a noise. I did almost everything to rule out the noise. Motor is fully rebuilt as well by the way. I had a P1374 code so i replaced the Crankshaft position sensor. while driving down the road when i let off the gas right away my rpms drop to bout 900 rpms. It definetly sounds like the transmission to me. But i just dont know what might be causing the noise im hearing. The noise is noticeable at around 2500 rpms and up. Im pretty sure its not a lifter(s) because i know i set preload properly before i put the motor back in.
Im just at a loss. i dont know what to do anymore.
